Hello!

It has been five years, seven months, and 20 days since work to build this website first began. Coincidentally, it has also been exactly three years to the day since my last post here, which I didn’t notice until the moment I started writing this and had to add the date. This may be enough serendipity for me to declare November 29th a personal posting holiday (time will tell).

In my first post, I said that I might only make one update here every five years. Though for as much as I love to commit to a bit, I didn’t feel like waiting two more years to spruce things up a bit and share some patch notes about it.

So, here’s what’s new!

  • Styles and colors have been updated, including dark mode support.
    • This should sync to your phone or computer’s settings automatically, unless you use the Samsung mobile browser, apparently. That may require some extra figuring out by me someday, or maybe never! Hopefully, whatever your settings, things are easier on the eyes.

  • Schrödie, my first video game, is now embedded and playable here.
    • Previously, there was only a link out to the version hosted on itch.io. However, now, you can conveniently play Schrödie right here at whoiskevinflynn.com without all the hassle of traveling to an entirely different website. There’s even a virtual control pad to play on mobile! (But I’d recommend keyboard.)

I have ideas for additional updates to make to this site in the future, but I don’t know when or how often I will get to them. Whether or not I declare a personal posting holiday, perhaps I’ll have another update here again on November 29th, 2026, or November 29th, 2030. Either way, see you then!
